Our Story

I didn’t set out to be a dog breeder. I grew up on a farm in the Outaouais valley. Cows, horses and of course a LOT of dogs were my childhood companions. I guess a lot of little girls dream of becoming a veterinarian, a nurse or a police officer at some point, and I was no exception. After my parents took me to see the RCMP Musical Ride, I knew I would one day find myself riding these beautiful black horses.

After completing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, I joined the RCMP. This meant a lot of transfers, travels and dealing with law infractions, including animal cruelty cases. Time and time again, I visited anonymous kennels. It never failed - the kennels were dirty, dogs were sick, overpopulated, left in cages and uncared for. My coworkers hearts were broken, and so was mine. 

It came to me in 2000 in one of those “a-ha” moments. I couldn't change the world but, I could certainly try and do my share. I finally knew what I had to do. I started planning a dream estate for dogs, where they could run free, be loved, pampered and cared for. Our facility has a 2 acres private park, luxury suites, interior play areas and nine employees on staff.
